Epic supports FITIS-SLIATE partnership to mould future IT workforce |
| The novel concept to provide industry training introduced by FITIS Software Chapter (formerly known as SLASI) in collaboration with Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technical Education is now becoming a reality. Epic Lanka will shortly commence a pilot project at one of the Advanced Technical Institutes to extend their support to this project of national importance. |

| Students of the Higher National Diploma (HND) in IT who have completed their two years of full time studies could receive the subsequent 6 months industry training at their own ATI under this program. Several pilot projects to be initiated at the regional ATIs will open the door to industry and this will record the beginning of a successful industry academic partnership through an innovative model that will be supported by FITIS member firms. |
