EPIC Lanka emphasizes on training of staff members as a key strategy in maintaining its position as a technology leader in its core business areas. In his short speech on the first working day of 2008 the Chairman of EPIC Lanka requested all staff members to pay attention to review the learning and acquisition of new knowledge on a daily basis as an individual exercise.
Two software engineers are taking part in a training program in Malaysia at Heitech Padu Berhard, one of EPIC Lanka’s overseas technology partners. A team of software engineers will attend a training program on info systems security in India early this year. EPIC is represented by a team of software engineers in the Certified Ethical Hacker V5 course offered by EC council early February 2008. Other training programs include an ongoing in-house training on Java Technology and training on software quality assurance.
