SLIATE establishes Program Advisory Committees |
| Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technical Education, an entity coming under the Ministry of Higher Education recently established Program Advisory Committees to upgrade their study courses and align them with the industry needs. Shanta R Yapa, Vice President of Epic Lanka was appointed as a member of the Program Advisory Committee. |
| Establishment of the Advisory Committees is an initiative taken by SLIATE consequent to the recommendations of the Education for Knowledge Society Project funded by the Asian Development Bank. |
| SLIATE (www.sliate.lk) currently manages 12 Advanced Technical Institutions and 7 Technical Colleges through which they offer HND programs covering an array of disciplines. |
